Saturday I went bird watching with a local group from
Erbie, AR. We hiked around the Erbie campground (located on the
Buffalo National River) and saw a lot of good birds (44 total). Two were new for me for the year, including the
Field Sparrow (# 164) and the
Prairie Warbler (# 165).

During our hiking we also came across this small
Copperhead Snake.

Sunday Brandon and I found a
Grasshopper Sparrow at
Woolsey Wet Prairie, that makes 166 species for the year. Only 34 more to go!
Soon we'll be off to
Bermuda!
